Flight Bag Battery Charger QC Avionix two-stage automatic float battery charger was designed specifically for 12 volt lead acid rechargeable batteries. Its small size, 2” x 3”x 1.5”, and light weight, 15 oz, make it ideal to carry in your flight bag or on-board tool box. The charger delivers up to 0.5 Amps and upon reaching full charge the charger automatically switches to float mode. Float mode safely maintains the battery at full charge without overcharging. The charger can be left connected to any 12 volt battery that can handle float voltages of 2.20 to2.22 volts per cell indefinitely without damaging either the battery or the charger. Two indicator lights show battery condition. The red light indicates the battery is charging and the green light indicates the charger is in float mode and the battery is fully charged. The charger cannot be damaged if the battery connections are accidentally shorted or reversed.
